– close to the Brookly and Manhattan Bridges.

On the morning of Nov 13, 2019, the Moon was still visible and glaring above the Manhattan skyline.
as the sun was coming up in the morning! The Sunrays are reflected in the buildings along Manhattan.
The photos in this section were taken in broad day-light.
However, the Sun-Rays were so overwhelmingly strong that they overshadowed the area with an effect of darkness.
These photos were taken from the Brooklynn side of the East River. At around 6:30 am. this show of color lasted less than 15 minutes. We need to stand camera- ready, otherwise, we may miss the display!

Manhattan Skyline is seen
A boat is floating in the East River with Bridges in the background
For the past week or so, it was raining on and off, for most of the days. the temperatures were mild in the 50s & 60s
To the left the BMT Train tracks that runs along Broadway, and connects Brooklyn with Manhattan. At the center is a Hi-Rise that is coming up on South Five a block away from Broadway.it dominates the area with its Hight and Beauty.
To the Left: OOct 2019, The Integrity Commercial Ship is seen leving the navy-Yard located on the Brooklyn side of the East River. The ship is heading to and under the Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges, into the Hudson.
The many face of this glass residential building at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan. Lots of work went into the design of the building. to create these outstanding images of the Sun reflecting onto the building. a more detailed writeup will follow.
This page is Dedicated to the 9/11 Memorial, the photos were taken from Brooklyn, by the East River, facing the World Trade Center. The beams are very visible, since the photos and videos were taken on a clear evening. The page includes a video of the Empire State Building in its glory, shining in a vibrant lush Red & Blue.

In the center: this was a rare moment, an opportunity not to be missed. I grabed my camera to take this magnificednt shot. Its been a long time and I am still wating for another opportunity to take another pose of the WTC with the Sun-beam at the Center.
Above: you can actually see as the sun is getting bigger, above the horizon.
It actually takes only about a minute for the sun to surfaces. However, the show of colors takes more than an beforehand.
However, you need to stay camera-ready. At times some clouds will block the show, Or they/ clouds, may enhance and make the Sunrise even more Beautiful and attractive.
a Stunning Sunrise this morning Sept 14 at 6:30-7am
It was this morning at around 6:30 am, the sun was seen emerging from within the hazy air.This is a perfect weather for the sun to be seen full circle in flaming Red color. However, the camera can not pick up this strong flame of Red and turns it into a White hue, instead of Red. The 3 photos bellow demonstrate the full emergence of the Sun
It was about 6:50 this morning Sept 14 as the sun appeared full circle above the Brooklyn skyline facing Queens the Za-Za Bldg is seen at the Left. Some clouds emerged in addition to the hazy air that contributed the this magnificent sight. It felt as if you can touch these stunning rays, so gracefully bestowing their presence above the Horizon.
To the Right: The Verizzano Bridge is seen from here, Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY.
There is a distance of about 12 miles from the Verizzano to here / Williamsburg.

Before & After: The Verizzano Bridge is not visible anymore. For years I was taking pictures as the Verizzano Bridge was standing proudly,visibly adding to the Brooklyn Skyline. Guess we can not take things for granted. It was sad to see one morning ‘The Verizzano Bridge disappeared!
Construction is taking place and a multistory building block the Verizzano Bridge from being seen from Williamsburg.

for years I was taking photos with the Verizzano Bridge in the background, adding to the Brooklyn Skyline.
The Verizzano connects Brooklyn with Staten Island. The Verizzano was built about 40 years ago, and at that time, had the longest span over water in the world.
The Verizzano is about 12 miles away from Williamsburg, However during the day she was visible from here. especially at the glare of the sun the Bridge was glaring away with a Silver hues, that were visible for miles.
Yeshiva boys enjoy some delicious ice cream on a hot afternoon, during the heatwave we had last week.
The Multi Story Construction at the DOMINO’S is already over towering the Williamsburg-Bridge.the photo was taken in early August 2016, at Sunrise.

Construction is booming here in Williamsburg
Yes, construction , new sites, on this side of the Willamaburg on Kent Ave on bothe sides of Williamsburg Bridge. as you can see on the photos and videos, the Spitzer Consttruction site is already prepared with most of the beams that suround the property. Some of the beams are deep intoo the ground 70-80 feet or so of hard metal beams were squeezed into ground. just make one of the videos work so you can see for yourselves the amount of noise the residents here in area have to indure. also visible is the progress of the Domino project view the multi story cement structure shell in back of Williamsburg Bridge.Also is visible a new cemment shell that towers, even higher taller than the complex at the North 6thSt. boat landing.Above and Left Cement truck mixers ready to pour cement at Spitzer Site Kent & South 9.
