The Concord Airplane, The Concord was at the Navy-Yard here in Brooklyn for repairs. Since August. I was sitting on a bench in the Esplanda, the park here, that surrounds the walkway that is extending from the South Brooklyn Ferry stop which is in the back of 450 Kent Ave. and extends to close to the Williamsburg Bridge. I got a tip from a relative that works in the Navy-Yard that the Concord was just transfered to another barge. As I continued walking towards the Bridge looking arround for some nice photo oportunieies. to my pleasat surprise as I was focusing toward the bidges, I thought i see something that resembles a wing of an airplane. In a heartbeat I opned my camera and started to snap. thing were going so fast, the barge with the Concordwas moving to the Manhattan side of the river, faster than I assumed.
